My wife and I met Chris in April 2017 as we had reached out to him on a home and property in Greenville we had seen on Zillow. He met us there at the home with all of the essential details of the place in hand in which he handed over to me after an introduction and a hand shake. My wife and I decided against that property as our home place, but made an instant bond with Chris. We spoke of family, cattle, hunting, and fishing, in which we both enjoy doing with our families. I told him of our property near Clyde and that one day we would be listing it to sell. As time went on my wife and I decided to ask Chris if he would consider listing it not knowing if he would because of the distance. He responded “Sure I will.” From that moment on Chris took control of the situation by making the 3+ hour drive to Clyde to assess the property and home and hang his lock box on the door. Through out the selling process he was one step ahead of what needed to be done and correct any issues outside of his control. We closed on the house and 10 acres last Wednesday have asked Chris to list our remaining 21.57 acres as well. This was my first time to buy a house. I was slow to decide where to buy and how much to spend. Chris was patient, responsive and he is a wealth of knowledge. He educated me and helped me be patient to wait for when it felt right. His knowledge of construction and landscaping is also super-helpful since I had my heart set on an old craftsman home. He steered me away from money pits and helped me prioritize the fixer-upper stuff and estimate the feasibility of that stuff too. Chris truly partnered with me and genuinely has my best interests at heart. Regarding Chris’s negotiation skills; I wound up buying in a neighborhood with which he wasn’t familiar and houses were selling super fast. We were competing with cash buyers, investors and developers. I was not the highest bidder on the house we landed, yet Chris got it done for me! I couldn’t be happier!
