How do you select a realtor when you want to sell your home? We asked a friend who is a commercial real estate broker and he said that in our area, Lafayette, the absolute best company is Dudum Real Estate Group. So, we called and met with Lori Legler. We were very impressed with that first meeting. We were selling a rental house that needed to work around the tenants, that needed cosmetic repairs, and that needed to accommodate a 1031 exchange schedule. Lori grasped it all and before we left the meeting she had shown us what they would do for us and how it could all be done. The next meeting was with Lori’s partner, Cheryl Hata, at the property. Cheryl was great. She listened to us and then suggested a plan of attack to update our home and reach our goals. She suggested using their subcontractors and got them in without delay to see the house and provide quotes for the work to be done. Each was very professional, dependable, and very fairly priced. So, they painted (new colors selected by their designer), refinished the hardwood floors, refreshed all the grout in the house, hung new updated light fixtures throughout, cleaned the house, and staged every room with beautiful furniture. The house was transformed. The work started on the 1st of the month, and we were ready for our first open house 25 days later. We received multiple offers and accepted one. Nineteen days later we closed. We feel like they brought the absolute best out of our property and we are very happy. This was a really well organized and effective effort from Lori and Cheryl. We couldn’t be happier with their attention to our needs and the attention to our property. Cheryl and Lori are a great team that produces great results.
