By way of background, I am a retired professional and owned commercial and residential properties my whole life. During a visit to Tennessee I decided to look at property in the Lake Cumberland region of Kentucky. I literally had never stepped foot in Kentucky. I have grandkids in Ohio/friends in Tennessee and wanted to get a feel for the waterfront areas around Somerset. Cheryl showed me a few properties, understanding I was not yet ready to purchase. I returned to Colorado and we stayed in touch. The first house she sent me was exactly what I was looking for, but my home (a ski condo) had not yet sold. After I closed on my Colorado property, I moved to the area, renting via airbnb. Cheryl found another home, EXACTLY what I was looking for, but not yet listed for sale on the MLS. We looked at the house and 15 minutes later I shook the owners hand, making a full price offer (cash). The deal was a little complex in that the owners needed to stay in place 4- 6 months before moving overseas, but we did it. For me, what made Cheryl unique was her ability to understand what I was looking for. I have given Cheryl permission to use me as both a personal and professional reference. I'd be glad to share my experience with any potential client.
