I’ve recently worked with Charlotte Johnson to sell my family home in Bogalusa. The home was originally built by my grandfather, had been in the family for three generations and following the passing of both parents, the decision was made to sell the home. In addition to the emotional stress of selling a home that had only been owned by my family; I also had to deal with coordinating the sale from two time zones away as I left Louisiana decades ago. That’s where Charlotte & her team came to the rescue. The approach taken was Charlotte invested her own money to make renovations to the home prior to listing it (she would then take her investment off the top at closing). Charlotte’s team did excellent work and there was no way I could have coordinated the renovation effort from two time zones away without Charlotte & her team. Once the home was listed, we had a full price offer within 2 weeks. Without Charlotte’s approach of renovating the home before listing it; and, talking to prospective buyers during the renovation period, we never would have received the price we did and as quickly as we did.
