We've had the privilege of knowing Charles for over five years. When we decided to build our dream home in 2017, we were confident in the professionalism, experience, and market knowledge Charles demonstrated. Our experience with this "luxury" builder were fine until the contract was signed, but like others in our development learned, the builder started to come up short more than expected from a company of this reputation. But Charles leveraged his market knowledge, and perhaps most importantly, several well-placed contacts within the builder's management to remedy our concerns. Charles was present for every meeting and design center visit, often on short notice. This was commendable given how busy he was at the time. He helped us to strategize prior to walking into meetings with the builder, and this was the difference in resolving several major concerns that almost led us to walk away. In the end, we're happy with our build and we attribute a great deal of that outcome to Charles. We made a decision not to sell our condo and to rent it instead. We had never been landlords and were nervous about the prospect. Charles provided advice that gave us the confidence to move forward. He helped us identify a property management company, affordable yet high quality contractors, and had identified tenants the first weekend on the market. Similar units remained on the market for up to a month. We had no doubt Charles made the difference in getting the unit ready for rental and off the market quickly. After two years we debated whether to continue renting during the uncertainly of COVID, but we didn't want to leave equity on the table. Charles helped us work through the pros and cons of each and we decided to sell. We were under contract in less than two weeks with an offer for our asking price. As with the rental, his contractors removed a lot of the stress in getting the unit in top condition, and the sale went off exactly on schedule.
