Born in Anchorage, Alaska, but grew up in the Los Angeles, California. I always had a love for flying and attended Mount San Antonio College earning my AS in Commercial Flight and my private pilot’s license. I worked three jobs to pay my way and was involved with the school’s flying team where I was nicknamed “Slow Flight Tupper.”
I joined the United States Army as a UH-1H (Huey) Helicopter repairman in a CH-47 Chinook Unit at Fort Hood, Texas until I was deployed in December 1990 to May 1991 in Desert Shield/Desert Storm. In September of 1991, I was honorably discharged at the end of my commitment.
After leaving the military, I achieved my Airframe and power plant aircraft mechanics licenses and overhauled PT6 series aircraft turbo prop engines with Pacific Airmotive Corporation in Burbank, California. In Addition, my entrepreneurship began with a start-up company, founding my entertainment company on the side, offering karaoke, disc jockey and clowns.
I moved my family from Los Angeles to Show Low, Arizona in 1996, the best move I ever made. I have additional background as service advisor at car dealerships, sales and live remote broadcasts in Radio advertisement and even had my own local TV show.
As a businessman, I’ve been involved with the White Mountains of Arizona community since 1996. Serving on committees and working with many non-profit organizations. One of those as, co-founder of Sequoia Schools “Read to Win” program where we reward the kids for exceeding their reading goals with cash, prizes and an annual end of school event as well. I was also the Charter President of the White Mountains Optimist club, a part of a national organization that serves world wide to better lives and health of our youth.
I have a grown son, and daughter with two grandchildren that bring me endless joy and happiness. My personal time is spent with my wife I married in 2020, my son and daughter as well as my grandchildren and stepson. I love the outdoors and when possible, spend time fishing, bicycling, off-roading and hiking.
At the end of 2015, I decided to use my experience and to join the professionals and began the process of becoming a licensed REALTOR®. Since then, I have made education and professional growth a priority.
