Charlene grew up in Katy, Texas. After graduating high school, she joined the United States Marine Corps, serving for almost 5 years. She just loved her time spent on active duty! She even had the honor of earning her airborne wings! While on active duty, she also earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Accounting. The Corps brought her to Cherry Point in 1996, where she left active duty to start a family. During that time, she went back to school again and earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. She maintained a career in the education of children of all ages for over 18 years, and especially loved working with Exceptional Children. After earning her real estate license, she decided to transfer to a full-time career as a real estate agent. Her background in education allows her the expertise in helping her clients better understand the process of buying or selling property. Her passion for helping others has always been the driving force in every path she’s navigated.
They say you can take the girl out of Texas, but you can’t take the Texas out of the girl. While that’s true, she proudly calls the Crystal Coast her home and thinks this is the very best place to live! She loves helping others achieve their dream of living along our coast, whether it be part-time or full-time. As such a hot vacation spot, she sees the value for investors and enjoys helping them reach their financial goals as well. She truly views her clients as family and fosters lifetime relationships with them.
She is married, and has a son, Michael, and two daughters, Laura and Macey, as well as two stepsons, Alex and Brady. She loves animals and currently has 5 cats (yes, officially a Crazy Cat Lady), and a German Shepherd. She supports local rescues and adoption programs. She enjoys hiking and watching true crime documentaries.
