Chanda holds a business degree from Northwestern Michigan College right here in Traverse City. Having spent the majority of her career in business accounting and more recently in property management, there hasn't been a deadline or a challenge not achieved!
Chanda comes from a military family. Her father, 3rd class petty officer served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Boston CAG-1 a part of the Fox Division during the Cuban Missile Crisis. So, it's no wonder why Chanda takes so much heart towards the military, its service members, and their families as the love of God, Country, and Freedom have been instilled in her since she was a young girl.

In her free time, Chanda enjoys all the great outdoors has to offer with her husband of 24 years and their 2 boys. From hiking, camping, kayaking, hunting, and fishing you can find Chanda and her family in Michigan's great outdoors!
