Ced Thomas always had an entrepreneurial state of mind. From selling cool cups and candy in his younger years, to breeding and selling dogs in his teenage years, to doing videography work in college, and going on to own a few Houston nightclubs. Serving the Greater Houston region, Ced works under the prestigious Century 21 Olympian, one of the fastest growing offices in the city. There, Ced provides a full service of real estate transactions. For instance, it is not uncommon that a client will use Ced to sell their home and purchase another or for a client to purchase an investment property and allow him to lease it out.
As a former educator, Ced enjoys giving back to the community in which he grew up. He mentors students through Soaring with Eagles and after-school programming, coaches various little league sports and does charitable work throughout the city.
Has it been a smooth road?
“When it comes down to business, you have to be all in. Often you have people entering the business thinking they are going to get rich quick, while working another full-time job. You have to put the best interest of your clients first and provide them with the best resources possible.” Although it has not been easy, Ced understands that adversity builds character. How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
