Cathy entered the real estate business in the late 1980s in central Iowa. She learned the ins and outs by shadowing two very successful Brokers. Her career has been filled with all types of real estate transactions, across three states, from luxury new builds in Arizona to single family homes in Iowa to acreage and commercial properties in the Kansas City area.
In the process, Cathy and her husband have raised six kids, have 6 grandchildren and owned a number of businesses in rural Missouri. Cathy loves the midwest and working with sellers, especially seniors. She has earned the SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) National Association of Realtors designation by completing education and training in the special needs of our aging society. With an educational background (a music teacher for 25 years), she also enjoys guiding first time homebuyers of all ages through the process.
Cathy is also very active in her church community and is working to rebuild the small town in which she and her husband reside.
Mrs. Laizure takes her clients and work very seriously. After witnessing, first hand, the poor communication and lack of ethics in the business world, Cathy made it her mission to be the kind of agent she would like to work with. She is a top notch communicator and is detail oriented; which is a huge asset in a business built on contracts and deadlines. She has assembled a team of professionals, from lenders to plumbers and title processors to insurance professionals to make all transactions smooth and successful.
One Broker, whom she deeply respects once told her, ''you treat people right; you will do big things.'' From that, she adopted the slogan, "I'll Treat You Right".
Cathy was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what she has done. She has worked hard, persevered and strives to provide the highest level of service to her clients day in and day out.
