My wife and I purchased our first home together with Cathy not long after we got married. We had a large house and piece of property in a niche market, and knew that it would most likely take a long time to sell. We had listed it previously with a different realtor for one year, with only two offers well belong both asking price and a current appraisal. We chose Cathy Greene as our new realtor because she familiarized herself with every detail of our property and community. She was present at almost every showing of our property by other agents. She had another agent there in her place for the one showing she could not make. She could answer any question, whether it was a common question such as information on area schools, to uncommon questions, like the last service date on the two air conditioner systems. Our property was difficult to compare with other properties in the area because there are simply so few. Cathy was a wizard at explaining to potential buyers and other agents the comps that were used. She would contact us after every showing with feedback from the potential buyers and their agents, and patiently dealt with my reactions to some of the outrageous comments that were made. It took enormous patience and perseverance on her part, but within 10 months we had an offer that was just below our asking price and we accepted. This was in early February 2020, as news about Covid-19 was beginning to spread. One month later the world shut down. Her challenge then became getting everything finalized. We are tremendously grateful to Cathy's tenacity in getting it all accomplished by the closing date of May 1, 2020.
