Catherine Kim

Catherine is so good at what she does. She is super organized and on top of everything, which made our first time home-buying experience so smooth. Not to mention, she is a very genuine person who really cares that you get what you want for your home. She is very easy to talk to and you just feel like you knew each other for a very long time. Definitely recommend her because she is: knowledgeable, responsible and genuine.

My interaction with Catherine was relatively short but that is a good thing since I successfully bought my first home with her in such lightening speed. I was put in touch with Catherine during an off hour on Sunday night while she was spending with her family. She put her family first (which is great!) and still made time to work with me same night to an put an offer on a house I knew I wanted from first sight, that is actually slightly out of her normal Peninsula focus area. The next day she and her team helped me through all the scary paper work for the formal offer. She also gave me advice on what the best offer would look like. Like all Bay Area home, there were other offers and the sellers were taking longer than they had previously told us to make their decisions. Catherine was so diligent that she called the listing agent every hour to check on the progress. Eventually they accepted my offer! After the offer was accepted, Catherine's team also helped me with my interaction with the mortgage broker and was responsive when dates got delayed. She helped give advice when the details seemed obscure. Eventually after what seemed like a roller coaster ride, everything worked out and I moved in my home a few months ago! From my interactions with Catherine I can tell she is an extremely good negotiator -- she is calm, warm, and assertive. Because of her negotiation skills I was able to get my home at the low end of my offer which was actually below asking! This would NOT have happened with anyone else!
