Early in the year I needed a market evaluation for my home. Having lived in College Park East for the past 37 years I new that I was going to contact Carolyn. She provided me the evaluation and I told her I had not decided whether I was going to sell or not. Several months later I decided it was time for a change. I called Carolyn and she came over to discuss the selling of my home. She suggested several updates that I might want to do prior to putting the home on the market and that she new people who could do the work at a very reasonable price. I agreed to the updates and they were completed quickly. Next, I told Carolyn that I wanted to sell most of my furniture once my house was sold. She suggested that I have the estate sell prior to selling, this would allow us to stage the home, again she had people that would do this. I agreed again. The items were sold and the house was staged. I had never imagined that my home could look so good. There stager did a fantastic job of making the house look up to date in every way. Carolyn told me she was going to have an open house over the weekend and accept offers on Monday. On Monday we went over the offers and by Wednesday the home was sold. I never in my wildest dreams thought that it could happen so fast. I told Carolyn I had purchased a house and would like to close as quickly as possible. We had an inspection and several items needed to be addressed before we could close. Again, Carolyn had people that could handle all of the updates that were needed. Repairs went quickly and we agreed on a closing date that was much sooner than I thought possible. Selling a house is not an easy task but Carolyn was able to handle everything in a timely manner that pleased both the buyers and me.
