Carol was amazing. I was a first-time home buyer, and hadn't really done any research before starting the process--I didn't think I was going to buy right away, just figured I'd start looking and see what was out there. She was so supportive and helpful throughout the entire process, including when my first lending option couldn't make things happen fast enough, when the first appraisal came back too low, and timing changed a bit. My husband and I contacted Carol within days of moving to Atlanta (relocated for a job). We were staying in a hotel and needed to find a more permanent place to live quickly. We gave Carol all of our criteria (and even though we couldn't afford to be picky, we were!). Within a few hours, we received a list of available places that met our criteria and Carol talked us through the process in Atlanta. Carol also helped us narrow down our location search as we had no idea about which areas would be good for us. We viewed a handful of places, and when we finally found a house we loved, Carol helped us negotiate the rent down and added a few more things into the offer (new carpet being one of them). We plan to buy a house within the year and, although moving is a stressful process, at least finding a good real estate agent isn't part of the stress.
