Carol worked diligently over a period of years to find us the right home. We had very specific needs- location, size, layout, amenities, and, of course, budget. Because we were so specific, the minute I saw a house with potential, we had to see it- right away! And, Carol always adjusted her schedule to accommodate us. Sometimes she would explain the features lacking in the listing before we view it- so as not to waste our time, but she also understood flexibility and priorities. When we did see a house, and we saw many, she would point out the things she knew were important to us- if the dining room table set for 20 would fit and where to put the dog's cage. She also understood the basics, how the roof looked, where the septic was, if we could build an outbuilding, if there was water damage and why; all things that would affect the value and cost of the house. With today's market things got even trickier. The homes that could be suitable for us got snatched up before they hit the market or delayed viewings until an open house where bids were taken. Carol always considered the value and gave us good consul on how to proceed; what type of offer to make, pros and cons of making an offer and when to make it, and when it would be best to wait or walk away. We really appreciated all the time and effort Carol put into helping us find our dream home. She is really more than just our realtor, she is a good and valued friend.
