My wife and I had a pressing need to move to a bigger house because of our growing family. We’ve been browsing online and visiting open houses for a couple of months. But there are just so many factors to consider that we were not even sure where to start. Then, I met Carmen at an open house where she was the seller’s agent. I was impressed by her insights into the housing market and friendly conversations. So, I asked her if she is willing to be our agent to buy a house. A few weeks later, we started our journey with Carmen on board. She has a clear plan for us to start with: understand our priorities and secure the loan. We were returning to San Mateo after 34 years in Vallejo and our situation was a matter of timing, first selling then buying a home. As it happened not only did we accept an offer but our offer on a home was accepted on the same day within a week of putting our Vallejo home on the market. Carmen was great at helping us find a neighborhood that matched our needs. She was very patient with us during the entire process.
