Everyone knows that house hunting can be such a stressful thing. Carmelo was referred to me by a fellow veteran friend. My family and I were in the process of a military move coming from Indiana to El Paso. Carmelo got in contact with me and asked me what all I wanted my future house to have. Once I gave him a list of what all I would like our future house to have, he hit the floor running and started a lineup of properties that matched my wishlist. He was in constant communication despite us being on a whole different time zone miles away. He was very honest and even warned me about a house I had fallen in love with and told me that under that cosmetic filtered "mommy makeover" was a house that was not what it originally was. You see, he had done a previous walk through with a past client and he said the pictures online were misleading. Lord and behold after time has gone by and the listing went from on sale to sold, the pictures were taken off the listing. And guess what? They changed the pictures to pictures of the previous way the house looked prior to the "mommy makeover." OMG!! That house looked so wasted, nasty and un-kept. I was so glad he stopped me when I wanted to make an offer. After several houses later through video calls we narrowed our search. He got us in contact with a builder and we kept the communication ongoing. Once we were ready to come to El Paso, he got us in contact with a friend of his who rents an air B&B. And that was also a 10/10. He didn't have to do that but let me tell you that it helped my family transition smoothly. Finally after waiting for our new home to be finished, we were given our keys and we closed. Carmelo helped us move from the air B&B and even loaned us a refrigerator as we waited for the day our household goods were delivered. My kids really like him too as he is very friendly and approachable. Will be recommending to all our fellow military friends.
