I have never used a realtor, having handled the sale of the only two homes I have bought or sold as a private transaction with an attorney and title company. However, I was in a situation where I needed to sell my deceased mother's home. It was in less than great condition and was a rather unique property, and I just didn't feel like I had the time to deal with finding a buyer for it so I decided to research realtors. Research is basically my day job so I'm not a novice, I was very thorough. Cari had the best reviews and stats of anyone in Northwest Ohio, so she was my first call. When Cari showed up to look at my mother's home for the first time she was completely unbothered by the disrepair and was totally confident there would be a buyer for the home. When I say "disrepair" I really mean it... the home was rough. I called a professional cleaning company prior to calling Cari to attempt to alleviate a bit of my burden to clean (only). No trash or debris removal at all, we had done all that. I just had them quote cleaning, and the quote came back at almost $13,000. So, all this being said, I felt enormously relieved when Cari was unbothered by the disrepair and felt confident there would be a buyer for this home. Throughout the entire process Cari was communicative and attentive. I felt like her top priority even though I knew she had other clients. When the home went on the market we had 20 showings in the first 3 days. I had 3 offers from those 20 showings. Cari gave me amazingly stellar advice on how to navigate multiple offers, and it was a smooth transaction to wrap up a monumentally stressful time leading up to hiring her. Bottom line: I could not have done this without Cari!!! She is a top tier professional in the real estate industry, hire her if you have the chance! I look forward to working with her again.
