To preface this review, my spouse and I live in Florida and purchased a property in Dallas (spoiler alert, we closed on the property). Let’s start with the facts. We flew out to Dallas in January because of a job relocation that isn’t happening until the end of June. Coincidently, we met Ms. Gomez at a property she was showing, and we immediately adored the property. However, it was the 4th property we saw that weekend, and as it was Sunday afternoon, our flight back to Florida was within two hours. Needless to say, we left Dallas without putting in an offer on a property. Full disclosure, we had a real estate agent. Now comes the unique part. My spouse and I appreciated Ms. Gomez’s prompt and thorough follow-up with us requesting the seller’s disclosures, and we added to our concerns about the HOA and whether we can have a spa on the rooftop deck. Ultimately, she delivered all the requested information surprisingly fast. We notified her that we would return in a couple of months and appreciated her help. When we got home, we decided that we wanted to change real estate agents (DEEP GASP) because we found her work ethic and professionalism to be a breathe of fresh air. That means that we rarely run into professionals who genuinely care about their clients to the extent that she went above and beyond. Fast forward to the final days of closing. Frankly, the lender we went with was unbearable. They are truly unprofessional, relating to their repeated disorganization and lack of time sensitiveness. In the final hours, Ms. Gomez worked tirelessly to ensure the closing happened, which resulted in MANY phone calls and negotiating with the Seller’s agent to extend the closing. I recall signing so many addenda, but I trusted her and had faith. Moreover, because we closed a weekend later, we had many deliveries going to the property, which Ms. Gomez kindly went to receive on our behalf. She is remarkable, and we are extremely happy with her work.
