Bruce Jay 40 Years EXP!

Bruce Jay had my listing for over 5 months and during that time brought me only one unqualified tenant, which would have been more in his interest, than in mine. He gave me the run around when I asked for details of activity and interest in the property. He did not disclose the fact that the broker fee split was 4/2 in his favor. After 4 months with no new prospects I suggested that I might pursue other options like short term rentals and asked if we could cancel the listing. He only agreed to do so if I paid the full commission, and claimed I was getting a discount. My loss at that point far exceeded theirs. Aside from posting adds all over the place, he did little else to market the property effectively, or provide proper guidance on pricing. When I asked him to take better picture and provide more frequent updates he simply ignored me. I certainly don’t hold Bruce responsible for market conditions, but I did expect ethical, fair and honest dealing consistent with his obligations as my agent and advisor. There are many hard working ethical brokers in this city who will represent you fairly. Choose wisely.
