Buying a house is never easy, but from the very first day Britta made the whole process stress-free and even fun. I came to her with very specific needs in terms of budget, location, square footage and design style, and she got right to work researching places that fit my fairly narrow parameters. Within a few hours of our first contact she emailed me five options. "Would you like me to schedule showings? she said. I picked three of the five to visit, and the next day we were touring the properties. For the next month Britta kept sending me more and more options and setting up showings. All of her leads were close to what I was looking for--she definitely understood my tastes and needs--but none of them quite felt like home. I feared that I was exhausting her patience, and apologized for being so picky. She assured me that I had nothing to apologize for, that this was her job and that she would keep looking, no matter how long it took. "I'm not interested in pushing you to buy anything," she said. "I'm interested in finding you the home that's perfect for you." One night she sent me an email titled "Dream House." I clicked on the link and saw immediately that she'd found it. The next day we visited the property and I said that I wanted to make an offer. "Are you sure?" she said. "It's a beautiful place, it meets all your needs, and this is a great neighborhood. Plus, should you ever decide to sell, the values are going up. I want you to be sure. We can keep looking." "Make the offer," I said. Britta negotiated a fair price and now I'm all moved in and couldn't be happier. This IS home, but should I ever decide to move I'll be sure to again use Britta as my agent. I urge you to do so, too.
