At the age of 83 and 85 my husband and I decided to sell our home and move into a local retirement community. We had had such a negative experience with our first realtor that we walked away from the sale. In hiring a new realtor, I knew that we needed a lots of help to understand the full process so that we would feel empowered in making the multitude of decisions involved. I wanted someone who had been in the business full time and could answer my questions and actually teach me what I had not known. It made so much sense! She wrote with my input a description of our home beginning with the location that broadened the market beyond what I would ever have imagined. Even though their office is located in Greenville and our house is in Spartanburg, this was no issue. We talked on the phone, texted, and emailed. She was always accessible. She was able to answer questions, hear concerns, and explain documents in detail so that we would know what we were signing. On the day that our house went on the market, there were 6-8 scheduled viewings, with offers from the first two. What a team the Brandt/Mullins Family make!! Our house has now been sold for our asking price to a lovely family with children. We can let go of a place and life that we will miss...but with hearts filled with gratitude. I have learned so much that I will probably never use again...but I feel empowered in understanding the process. I will miss Mary who will forever be my friend and her lovely sons, who crossed our paths at a time we were in desperate need of guidance by someone we could trust. We found this and more in their family real estate business.

I talked to Britt the Friday after Thanksgiving. He said give me an hour or two I'm closing on a house. I knew this is the guy I needed to help me with the sale of my house. He, his mother and team gave my wife & I guidance through the entire process. They are a good team & honest brokers of your time & space. My only regret is I probably won't get to see them much any more. We met on December 1st, closed on Jan 22nd with a good transaction for my family.

Britt had a very different tone after we signed the sellers agreement. Before we signed our house was great and we won’t leave money on the table. After the tone changed to we should take the first offer because we may not get better and he was hesitant to give counter offers. My wife and I on multiple occasions asked if he was on our side or the buyers because there was a lack of concern of our interest. The process went much smoother when Mary became the point person. Overall, he did the job but I would not hire him to negotiate on my behalf again.
