We looked at number of houses in various area in and around Lakewood Ranch Florida. Got a sense of what there was and what we wanted. Selected the one we bought after we left the area using a video tour Brian did. Great house with a pool in Polo Run. Have found a few fixes and upgrades to do in this five-year-old house. We love it.

Brian was our agent when we began looking for properties in Florida from out of state. From the beginning, he has been enthusiastic, helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable about the Bradenton and Sarasota real estate marketplace. He listened carefully to our needs and paid close attention to details that were important to us (e.g., our must-haves like gas stove, house facing west, the kind of layout we wanted, etc.). He gave us the pros and cons of each of the areas we looked at and showed us all the different areas around here so we could get a good feel for each location so that when we went home, we knew what to expect. He served as our eyes for remote tours and the house inspection and was always "on it!" when we found a place we were interested, especially the one we finally bought. As a first-time homebuyer who had very specific home criteria and wanted to buy in a red-hot neighborhood in an even hotter market, I literally could not have asked for someone better than Brian to guide this process. There were dozens of moments along the way that I was so grateful for his guidance and expertise, but these are a few key reasons why you should absolutely work with him, too: 1. He is incredibly responsive. In our first conversation, he determined my preferred way of communication and was extremely accessible whenever I had a question or there was new news from the seller. 2. He knows his stuff. I was going after a house in a very competitive area and he knew exactly how to offer, negotiate and counter in the right ways and at the right times to get it done. He made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, but constantly offered great advice to get us across the finish line. 3. He's super well respected and has a great network of folks. Need an inspector? A lender? Insurance? An attorney to handle title and closing? Brian has them all and will connect you, or even lead the convo if you ask him to. 4. He has a solution before he comes to you with a problem. Look, as a first-time buyer, I had heard all the horror stories and was fully prepared for everything to fall apart at the last minute. While that (thank goodness) didn't happen, there were hiccups, but if they were something Brian could help with or control, by the time I knew about them they were all but solved. I can not say enough good things about my experience working with Brian. I've already referred several people his way and will continue to do so - there is literally no way my experience working with him could have been better - he's as good as it gets.
