I am one of the fortunate few who have had the opportunity to be raised here in Chaffee County, moving to Buena Vista in 1977 to finish Kindergarten. I enjoyed growing up in this vibrant town and learning to love the mountains and everything that the outdoors has to offer. After graduating from Buena Vista High School in 1989, I attended the University of Northern Colorado where I earned a Bachelors of Science degree for Business Management . After graduation I moved to Ohio to work in sales for a sporting goods manufacturing company. I spent 6 years in Ohio, but could not get the mountains out of my blood, and in January 2001 I returned to Buena Vista to work with La Paloma Builders building houses until May 2002 when I moved to Montrose where I met my wife. I got married and returned to Buena Vista with my new wife,Michelle in January 2005. We purchased the Topaz Lodge in January, and I began working for Collegiate Peaks Realty in August. I have spent the past 12 years in Real Estate actively pursuing more education opportunities to make me better qualified to serve my clients. I have earned the GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) and MRE(Master of Real Estate) advanced Designations and expect to complete my CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and Smart Home designations in the next year. In April of 2008 I was elected as Buena Vista Town Trustee and served through April 2010. In September 2013, I became a Board Member for the Realtors of Central Colorado Board of Directors, and in 2016 I made an unsuccessful run for Chaffee County Commissioner. My hobbies include: Golf, Hiking, Fishing, Archery Hunting, Snowmobiling, and 4 wheeling.
