My husband and I worked with Bret Newell to sell the first home we purchased. Bret exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend him! He even set up professional cleaning services and handyman services to prepare our house to go on the market, and had all the necessary documents in place for each step of the selling process. He also used social media to advertise our home when it was for sale and worded the description perfectly with appealing pictures. He maintained a very organized system with documents/forms electronically and had them ready in paper form as needed. Bret’s personality is very warm, kind, friendly and welcoming. We felt comfortable talking with him and meeting with him when needed. This was our first time selling a home and Bret made it as smooth as possible. Bret made purchasing our first home seamless. We were living in Boston when we came across a listing we were interested in in Jacksonville. We reached out to Bret to see if he would be able to check out the house for us, and the next day he took us on a Facetime showing of the property. After missing out on that property, he suggested another property in the same neighborhood that we might be interested in, even though it wasn't on the market yet. He set up another showing with us on Facetime, and advised us on what a responsible offer would be for the property. He guided us each step of the way through closing, and shared with us what we would need to do now that we were homeowners. Being first time home buyers and moving cross-country can be stressful, but Bret made it very easy.
