I've lived in Northern California since 1990. Originally from Austin Texas and a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, I fell in love with Sacramento because of its remarkable similarities to my hometown - the state capitol, live music scene, a university that feeds our high-tech ecosystem, a beautiful river that flows through the city, bicycle enthusiasts, fabulous food landscape, and ample outdoor recreation. The bonus is the great weather here! I live in Sacramento with my husband (who attended Sac State University) and where my sister has taught since 2007.
