I referred long-time clients to Brenda Geraci expecting they would be in capable hands. This experience was one of the most disappointing referral situations I have encountered in my career. The level of professionalism, communication, and basic transaction management throughout the process was extremely poor. My clients repeatedly felt that their interests were not being properly represented, and there were multiple points in the transaction where key information and timelines were either unclear or incorrectly communicated. The situation got so bad to the point where her broker had to step in and arrange financial compensation directly to my clients to address the consequences of how the transaction had been handled. That alone should speak volumes about how problematic the process became and how incompetent this one real estate agent is. As the referring agent based in Toronto, I had to spend time learning the California process myself just to help guide my own clients through the situation due to the lack of clear guidance they were receiving locally. To make matters worse, their home ultimately sold for over $100,000 below what comparable properties in the area were achieving at the time. A total embarrassment of a real estate agent, and I deeply regret that she was able to collect such a large commission because of me despite contributing very little to the process.Emailed for COS - Reg 3/14/2026
