My sister and I were very impressed with Brenda from the start. Also, my father recommended us to consider using Brenda before he passed away. Brenda came into pop's house...which was built in 1961...and maintained very well, but not updated. She assessed the current state and made numerous recommendations to us...to position our house to sell. We completed the list as she advised us...and the changes made a huge difference, without a great deal of expense. We had the wall to wall carpets removed, which highlighted the hardwood floors that were covered since my parents purchased the home in 1961. We had the old wallpaper removed, and the entire house painted in a neutral color. We removed all of the contents including furniture. On the outside, we had someone clean out all of the flower beds, and trim the shrubs. What a transformation it made to this house. It wasn't very long until we received a bid that was very close to the list price that we had. We can't say enough about Brenda and how her knowledge and expertise assisted us in selling Pop's home. There was never a doubt as to who we would use when we decided to move. We listed the house and found out a couple of months later that we had a moisture problem behind the stucco, due to the improper installation of flashing around the windows when they were replaced. Brenda provided us with a list of experts. We contracted an expert to identify the problem and then went through the process of having all of the stucco removed, the wood that was damaged replaced and all of the windows re-flashed properly....then installed Hardi-Plank. We used the expert to conduct inspections as all of the work was being done to insure that it was being done correctly. We then relisted the house and it sold within three weeks.
