Having been out of the market for sometime and having strict deadlines to find, renovate, and move into a new home, I could not have asked for a better partner than Brenda. More than once in our search there were speedbumps that could have derailed the process, but like a true professional Brenda offered calm, clear guidance that made certain we were able to see our search and home purchase to a successful end. For most of the process of buying this condo, Brenda did what you would hope any professional would do - listened to our needs, was very easy to work with, helped us narrow down what to look at, guided us in HOA condo land, discussed what to offer, etc. It was the last week or two that earned the million stars. I was out of state during that time and she really went above and beyond to keep things on track. We had some complications with the title since we needed three people on it and Brenda walked us through that and followed up with the title company and mortgage company to make sure everyone was on the same page. There were several issues with various things that she handled for us. On the day of the walk-thru is when things really went off the rails as the sellers had not moved out and had no plan to do so. Brenda worked with their Realtor to get a plan in place and the title company to have a plan in place for everyone to sign at a convenient time but for the paperwork to be filed and funds released when the sellers had fully vacated. Even with the plan in place, the second scheduled walk-thru revealed one of the sellers had essentially moved back in. Brenda spent several hours on that day making sure they vacated, including helping them have their car towed to their next destination. I was out of state and she kept me posted on the entire situation and handled gracefully what was at best a very tense and trying situation. She went back the next day to do one more walk-thru and then notify everyone that the property was vacant and the funds could be released and documents filed. Without her we either would have not closed after spending a lot of time working through so many issues or we may have ended up closing and not knowing a seller was still in the property and having to spend the time and cost to have them evicted.

Brenda and Jason were relentless in their search for our perfect home. They made the buying process simple as they answered all of our questions before they arose. Brenda accompanied us to our inspections, walk through, and signing and was extremely professional and diligent. We would definitely recommend them and HIT.
