Brandy is a native of southeastern North Carolina and always called Bladen County her home. After graduating from nursing school in 2010, Brandy worked as a RN in Labor & Delivery/Newborn Nursery in Columbus County for many years. All the while nursing, Brandy owned and operated her own business, Lime Light Photography, photographing NC’s tiniest of residents. After having a family of her own and yearning for more autonomy to spend with them, she left the specialty in 2019. It was then when she took the leap and opened the doors of her photography studio full time. She continues to operate her studio as a successful business owner.
With serving her photography clients, coupled with her degree in nursing, this has provided her with valuable skills that she uses daily in real estate negotiations, educating home-buyers and sellers, and effectively marketing her team’s listings. Her intimate knowledge of this region, and experiences have given her the enthusiasm and desire to make her home, your home.
Brandy states that real estate is in some ways similar to nursing. “You are catering to your buyer or seller, providing them exactly what they need,” she says. “You are evaluating the situation; putting together a plan of care, all for the greater good of your client.”
Experiences while purchasing her own home, her studio, and recently investing in commercial real estate, have all helped to ignite her passion for a second career in real estate. She remembers the challenges she faced and wants to help make sure her clients do not face the same frustrations that so many home buyers experience today. Furthermore. Brandy has her own investment portfolio and can relate to the needs and goals of other investors.
In her spare time, you can find her soaking up the sun on the local beaches of NC with her husband and two children. Whether it be navigating the way for first time home buyers, or investors trying to score that perfect property, or providing help in the luxury market, Brandy is excited to assist you with your real estate needs!
