About Brandon

Born and raised in the Park Rapids/Osage/Ponsford region, Brandon completed his high school education at Park Rapids Area High School in 2007. Following stints in Grand Rapids, Fargo, and Burnsville, he yearned for the intimacy of small-town life and relocated back to Park Rapids in 2020. Brandon is also a loving husband to his wife, Shannon, and amazing father to their three lively boys. There's never a dull moment in his household. Brandon is an avid sports and outdoor enthusiast, and many of his pastimes are centered around these activities. His proudest athletic achievement was serving as a co-captain for the Park Rapids baseball team that captured the state consolation championship during his senior year. In the summer, he enjoys watching various sports and actively participates in golf and softball. On the golf course, he strives to keep pace with his wife, who was once a collegiate golfer at MSUM. Additionally, every deer hunting season, he eagerly anticipates joining his extended family on the Gartner Farm in Two Inlets. Prior to his current career, Brandon spent a decade in retail management, serving as a manager at Sports City in Fargo and Dicks Sporting Goods in Burnsville. He later transitioned to a Category Manager role at Breakthru Beverage, a liquor distribution company. Having been exposed to the home ownership industry early on through his father, who runs the successful Gartner-Johnson Construction & Design General Contracting business in the Park Rapids area, Brandon is now a proficient Realtor and the Team Leader for the Gartner Team. Brandon and Rhonda did an outstanding job with the sale of our home!

Brandon and Rhonda did an outstanding job with the sale of our home! To start with they used a professional photographer to take awesome pictures, they did drone pictures, they did a 3D tour and a video tour so that by the time you viewed our home online you had a very good idea what you were looking at. Brandon recommended that we do a "Coming Soon" and the first weekend on the market we had over 40 showings, a very well attended open house and 17 offers. We attribute a lot of the success of the sale of our home to their marketing strategy. They were very thorough during every aspect of our home sale. Brandon kept us advised on a weekly basis with any changes or updates. We would recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property in the Park Rapids area.
