I am a Business Administration graduate from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. I enjoy working in residential real estate as well as horse/cattle farms since I live on one in Augusta County. My sister has a 350 acre horse farm just outside of Lexington, KY where she breeds/raises thoroughbred race horses. My father was a Colonel in the Air Force, and a Vice President in charge of European Operations with Northrop Aircraft in Bonn Germany and Rosslyn, VA . My family lived in Chesapeake, VA while my Dad worked at Langley AFB and McLean and Alexandria, Virginia while he was at the Pentagon and Northrop, as well as four years in Bonn, Germany where he served as the Air Force Liaison Officer to the German Air Force in the American Embassy. My mother was a homemaker that taught German as a second language while we lived in Bonn. I moved to the Shenandoah Valley in 1985 when I got married. My eldest daughter is a graduate of Wake Forest University where she majored in Biology/Neuroscience and was a member of the crew team. She is a Medical Doctor, a graduate from the VCU School of Medicine, and is currently practicing family medicine at Penn State Hershey Hospital. My second daughter is a 2019 graduate of the University of Virginia where she majored in Economics with a Finance Concentration. She is now working for an international corporation in Northern Virginia. Both of my daughters attended the Shenandoah Valley Governors School and Fort Defiance High School in Augusta County where they were able to take AP and dual enrollment courses through James Madison University and Blue Ridge Community College during high school. We have a 28 year old large hunter/jumper pony named "Sporty" that my younger daughter rode competitively in high school.
