Bobbie was always able to schedule viewings for me quickly and she was always looking out for new properties coming on the market. She'd sent emails with listings or call if something showed up in my price-range with the features I wanted. She returned calls and emails in a timely manner and she was always sweet and friendly. <br/><br/>But what really impressed me about Bobbie was, when push came to shove during the negotiations and at the closing, she knew her stuff and when the sellers lawyer tried to pull a fast one, she caught it right off the bat and refused to budge until the contract was corrected, saving me about $3000 in closing costs. <br/><br/>I ended up with exactly what I was looking for, well within my price-range. She didn't try and talk me into more expensive properties, and she never got frustrated with me for taking my time or changing my mind about a house.

I contacted Bobbie Housand after seeing her name on my Zillow visits, and a subsequent check of the Emerald Dunes website. After several emails to establish contact and explain what I was looking for in a (retirement) property in the Niceville area, I visited her in April 2011 with my wife for a day reviewing some available properties. I found her very personable and knowledgeable about the Niceville/Eglin/Destin area. My wife and I considered the visit very profitable. We have yet to select a property, hence incomplete items in review because our home buying process is still ongoing. To this point, I provide a high recommendation for her, and will update my review information later. UPDATED Jul 2012: One of the houses shown, later became (again) available, and we successfully made and offer, negotiated, and finally purchased a home in Sunset Beach in Bluewater Bay, Niceville, FL in June 2011. Bobby and her office were very helpful in the offer and purchase phase, and in some critical logistical issues that occurred at closing. A year later as I update this, we are fully relocated, enjoying the home and the new community and we offer high recommendations to Bobby and Emerald Dunes.
