He is up front about what he doesn't know and, when he can, follows up up to find out. He's transparent about how he arrives at his own judgments. He delivers on his promises. My wife and I trust him and trust his judgment. Hard to see how you could feel good about a deal if you aren't dealing with an honest broker. 2) Billy knows his stuff. He takes his craft seriously and it shows. He knows all aspects of the real estate process. He knows the market; he knows the law; he knows home repair and value; and he knows the negotiation process. He has past experience doing real estate appraisal, and his estimates invariably closely matched professional appraisals. Huge difference from other brokers we have dealt with. 3) Billy is professional. He is incredibly well-organized -- much more organized than I am! -- courteous, responsive. He stays on top of tasks so that I don't have to. He answers his calls, texts, and emails promptly. Billy doing his job well makes my part in the process a hundred times easier. 4) Billy is good at discovering our needs. Billy is very good at sussing out both how you want to work (do you want to see lots of properties quick, or do you like to examine each one more carefully?) and, more importantly, what you want. He helped us figure out what we were looking for, what our priorities were, and how best to most of what we wanted most. 5) Billy is collaborative and puts the client first. Billy has clearly decided on a business model where meeting the client's needs comes first. He is patient: he never pressures for get the quick sale, nor does he disappear when you don't decide on a property right away. He easy to talk to and puts in the time to make sure you are satisfied. In sum: you gotta go with Billy. He is the real deal. So much better than others out there.
