We called Billy on Sunday morning because we wanted to see a property in Alabama on the spur of the moment—Billy was the fifth realtor we called but the first to answer the phone. To our surprise he told us to start driving and he’d get it set up, and he did. He showed us the house we wanted to see and several comparable in the area—none of which worked for us. Billy never made any attempt to “talk us into” anything, it was clear his only priority was helping us find what worked for us. Eventually we decided on something closer to home and went under contract for a house with another agent in GA. Then…. After inspection the house was revealed to have a number of very significant and costly issues. We reluctantly terminated the contract and went back to searching, but at this point our window was closing and we were looking at the possibility/probability of needing to rent. We cast our net further out and started looking at Alabama again, and contacted Billy in the hope that he would still be interested in working with us since he had been such a consummate professional and he again immediately answered his phone and put himself at our disposal, setting us up with properties to view the next day. We had a lot of very particular expectations for a house, and we talked to several other realtors who encouraged us to temper our expectations to the available inventory—Billy never did, he stuck with us and went over and above to show us everything he could, sometimes to the point of exhaustion but it was worth it, we found a house that was even more than we had hoped for and it w definitely wouldn’t have happened without Billy. Do yourself a favor, call Billy. Don’t settle.
