Bill's experience came in handy! We were selling one of our better rentals and at first were considering selling it ourselves. In our search for what the market was doing, we saw Bill's website and looked around at what our house could be worth. Pauline reached out to us and put us in contact with Bill. We decided to have him list it and we all thought it would be an easy sale being that the house was in pristine condition and showed very well. However, the buyer's bank appraiser put our home at $24K below the offer! Needless to say, everyone was shocked on both sides of the deal. Homestreet Bank refused to have her reassess it even though in her calculations she left off the 3 Car garage, over 100 sq. ft. and a couple other items. This of course, threw the deal and put us back on the market. We were however, able to get another listing fairly quickly and we negotiated a good amount.
