As a first-time solo homebuyer after many years of not owning, I was both excited and nervous about the whole process. Bill made me feel at ease and I knew he had my back. He took the time to understand my needs, preferences, and budget, and guided me through every step. He was always responsive, quick to answer any questions, and made sure I was fully informed without "mansplaining" or making me feel inadequate. He reminded me of the next steps without making it too overwhelming, which is a feat! It also should be noted that he was very patient in the beginning as I pondered all the options in this unpredictable world - including buying a house boat, sailboat, not buying, or wanting places that were way too expensive or too this or that! Bill also wasn't pushy and gave me the space to make my own decisions, all while providing sound advice when needed. He provided honest feedback on the properties we viewed. When I happened to see my home come on the market, he made time to view it with me and make an offer the same day! He skillfully negotiated on my behalf, including when I was unsure of how it would all work out. But I knew I could trust him. In the end, I found my perfect home (with a water view!) and I couldn’t be more grateful for Bill's dedication and support throughout the process.
