Selling a home can be a real ego booster - there's no shortage of those that are willing to tell you what you want to hear and agree with your every whim. That's not what you get with Beverly. She will tell you what it is and is willing to stand firm when challenged. There's a reason why her team in #1. There's no drama with her. I appreciated that. The other great attribute she has (& you will LOVE) is her responsiveness. She will personally attend to you. There's no bait & switch. No owner-operator coming in to get the listing and then getting pawned off to the associates. You sign with her and she will personally be there at every step of the way through the final meeting at the closing. Call and she answers, text and she writes back. Lastly and very important, is the high level of professionalism in the construction & set up of the listing. The attention to detail, the listing write up, the photography, the management of the showings, etc., etc. A lot of sellers tend to take that for granted thinking ..."oh they know what they are doing". That isn't so. The marketing of the home is key. As we now flip from being sellers to being buyers, we are horrified at the incredible number of really terrible listings we are coming across - bad photos, poor descriptions, lack of details, misinformation and worse. Our home sold quickly not because the market was hot, it sold quickly because it was impeccably marketed. We would highly recommend giving Beverly a call before deciding on an agent. I wanted to share a recommendation. There are a lot of realtors in Florida. Some say a dime a dozen. But we have had the most amazing experience with ours. Beverly Shanahan is truly ONE OF A KIND! We engaged Bev over 2 years ago to sell our house. and even listed it to then just quickly take it off the market. We had to do things such as new roof etc. But then we FINALLY were able to resist it in November. Which we all know is not an ideal time to sell. And the questions of did we miss Peak and so on. Well Bev sold our house on 6 days!!!! She marketed it amazing, professional all the way! The pictures were amazing and we had several people interested. We got an amazing offer and just closed today!If it was not for Bev I think I may have gone a little crazy and lost it thru this process.
