Selling my mid-century, very dated home in Boulder was a huge challenge, one that my previous realtor was not ready for. Betsy immediately stepped in, coordinating with her title company and researching documentation on the home, which I had inherited and knew very little of it's history. Within the first few days after she took on the listing, she hosted an Open House, well-advertised, staged the house, printed fliers with a detailed description of the property with pictures of the house and yard, hoisted a 12' Open House flag in front. The Open House was scheduled from noon to 2pm on a Saturday. As it turned out, she was there until 3pm and had 30 people walk through. We had an offer within 24 hours and a contract within a few days. Previously, the house had been on the market for 3 months with little to no interest. As with most old homes, there were repairs that needed to be made. Betsy has a complete database of the most qualified and reasonable people to fix any problems that might arise. Because she is so well versed in all the latest real estate laws and regulations, she was able to point me towards people who could help get everything up to speed. Regarding structural problems (when looking at other properties to purchase), Betsy was able to point out things that could be problematic structurally with the property. My inspector actually remarked how knowledgeable she is. She works hard for her clients and she will go to bat for them during and after the contracts are signed. I recommend her highly. Real Estate transactions can be daunting, but if Betsy is working with you, you will not feel alone. She's on your side.
