When we found Bethany, we were in a bit of a bind, having to move cross-country with an infant. We were hoping we'd be able to seamlessly move into our own house, but given the market, we weren't expecting to get what we wanted. Especially because it would be incredibly hard on our family to have one person in Massachusetts looking at houses and the other living the single-parent lifestyle (without child care because getting a spot in infant rooms is impossible). Enter Bethany. She immediately understood our goals and the particular obstacles we were facing. She was super quick to arrange viewings of homes we were interested in, and she showed up, iPhone in hand, to video-walk me through each home. We didn't have to travel except for the actual closing, which made things so much easier. I cannot stress how difficult it is to fully grasp a property when you can't be there in person. But Bethany made things clear. We were focused on older homes, and she was very helpful in outlining the significance of old home problems (e.g., sagging floors). When we found the perfect property, Bethany was so helpful in deciding our offer price and composing the offer cover letter. I am convinced that the sellers chose us over another offer precisely because of what we chose to include in that cover letter! She's collaborative and a good listener, and she knows how to put herself in your shoes! I highly recommend her!
