Bart Cook

Bart has been our realtor on 2 separate occasions now. Both times he worked tirelessly to make sure we had all necessary information and was very knowledgeable of the market. He is professional and courteous and quick to respond. Even when things beyond our control went awry, Bart stepped in to protect our best interests. Bart is a strong advocate for his clients, and a nice guy on top.

Bart was extremely patient with my wife and me as we were buying our home. He never pressured us to make a decision and did everything he could to answer our questions. Bart was consistently prompt with any email or text responses. I would absolutely recommend him to anybody looking to buy a new home.

Bart was horrible to work with. We referee to him and we were trying to find a way out of allowing him to earn commission off our sale. 1. He did not even show up to the first set of showing he sent someone else. 2. He showed up when we requested a second showing. 3. He told us it was Texas state law that we allow the previous owners to stay in the house up to 5 days after closing. We being out of state did not question thinking they do things differently. We came home once the contract was signed and told our realtor and he was like that is nuts. We asked for another copy of the contract and he filled in that we would take care of any electric l, water bill if he would happen. We did a lease back ( our insurance would not cover. We were not told it was going to be a lease back. When we called and question he then changed his tone and said it was customary. We asked why were we not give the option to pick if we wanted the owners to be out at closing or give them a couple days to stay. 4. Never returned calls unless we left we need to talk to you message. Always only responded very brief from text. 5. In the contract he had that the deposit was $1000. He told us the deposit was going to be $2500. We mailed the $1000 and held off on the $1500. He text and wanted to know why we did not send in the $1500. We asked again what the $1500 was for and he kept saying just in case. He would not give us a straight answer on why. The day we closed we never saw Bart. He had the keys hidden at the house. We never got a Thanks You and the list goes on. I would not recommend him to anyone. The only answer we kept getting from him was I never had an issue in 8 years!!!!
