He has a diverse knowledge of home structures, foundations, laws, and the real estate industry. He easily shared knowledge with us about these things. When we had questions about adding a garage to a property we we're interested in, he did all the work to seek out the answer (above and beyond). Barry Jewitt has a construction background, so his knowledge about current issues/repairs/potential issues/things to look for on a property or home was so valuable and unsurmountable. We had worked with other realtors who were just fine- they knew what a house was worth based on information they were able to gather about the area, etc BUT, I can't say it enough- Barry's construction background was beyond priceless and very informative. He pointed out repairs that had been done to the house and were concealed nicely, but were sure to be a problem again for a new owner in only a matter of time (water damage, drainage, property layout, poor construction in the attic or basement, mold, etc.) Barry is also EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE and timely in his responses. We felt that he was truly working on our behalf and had our best interest at heart.
