Barbara Walton

Barbara was a godsend! I had no idea how to get started on selling my house, but she made everything easy. She knew exactly how to fix the place up, who to call, what to do. She was even ready to do a couple of quick repairs herself! She stayed in constant communication via text message, so that I always knew exactly how things were going, and she was available any time I had a question. Everyone who knows Barbara speaks highly of her, and with good reason! If you would like to work with someone who knows the area better than anyone, is amazingly capable, who cares a lot, who truly listens, and who is a delight to meet and talk with besides, then do not hesitate! Call Barbara right away!

I wanted to reach out and share my appreciation of Barbara's help during the sale of my home. Her advice regarding the timing to put the home on the market at the start of spring was excellent, as it aligned perfectly with buyer demand. I also appreciated how she effectively navigated external market pressures, both financial and global, while maintaining a steady focus on potential buyers.

Barbara was very knowledgeable about the real estate market in Old Niskayuna and skillfully handled a very difficult and lengthy sale (due to title issues on my property) with good humor and and positivity. When I would begin to lose confidence in things working out, she was always there with something positive to say and ideas to try to expedite the situation. I would definitely hire her as my agent again!

Barbara’s extensive knowledge of the current market was key to obtaining the best possible outcome.

I first met Barbara when she acted as my buying agent in 2010 and acted again as my selling agent of this same home in 2025. I was so impressed with her when I bought the home I specifically looked for her to when it became time for me to sell. I highly recommend Barbara for either needing an agent for a home’s purchase or sale.

When I decided to sell my home, I asked who I needed for a realtor. No name came up more than Barbara Walton. Well, I quickly found out why! She is extremely experienced. She is detail oriented. She responds quickly to calls and checks in with the seller regularly. She stopped by regularly to offer suggestions for making the house look its best. The photos she posted on line were excellent and the sale price of the house was obviously very attractive because in a very short time there were multiple offers and the house sold in 4 days.
