Our house we sold was an 8-bedroom, 3-story, 110-year-old shingled summer house that our family had owned for 60 years. It was in excellent condition but without heat or insulation. We hoped it might sell to someone who would appreciate its open layout, period charm and ability to accommodate a large number of people, ie, upgrade rather than demolish it. Barbara had spent her summers on the Cape growing up and understood where I and my three siblings were coming from. She is a good listener and, as another review says, she does not try to apply pressure. She is bright, low-keyed and accessible. While another realtor ended-up bringing the ultimate buyer to the property, Barbara established an ongoing dialogue with that buyer that facilitated the transaction. We ended-up selling the house to the proverbial "needle-in-a-haystack" that we had hoped to, and they are going to make it their primary residence once it is winterized. Working with Barbara was an excellent experience for my family, and we recommend her without reservation.
