Following in her father’s footsteps, Barbara holds a California Real Estate Broker’s license and has worked in and around real estate for nearly 40 years. This foundation has given her vast experience in the industry including real estate marketing and sales, property management, title and escrow, mortgage loan origination, real estate law, probate law, and quality assurance management over resort sales and marketing. She is currently a team leader and has been the owner/broker of an independent real estate brokerage where she managed and trained other real estate agents. All of this has taught her how to effectively negotiate, navigate and strategize through all types of transactions. But Barbara doesn’t call it the "real estate" business. She calls it the "people" business. Making sure her clients achieve their goals and receive the superior service they deserve will always be her passion. This is why so many of her clients stay in touch and refer their friends and family to her.
Barbara and her husband enjoy the simple life and consider themselves blessed to have been raised in an area so rich and abundant in natural beauty. Her grandchildren are the sixth generation of Barendregts in Tuolumne County. As a lifelong resident, to say she knows the area, the people, and the culture is an understatement.
