There were challenges with the seller being out of-the-country and with our bank. The bank was not experienced with beach property and and initially undervalued the property. She researched similar properties within 500 feet of the ocean, shared detailed comps with the bank, and spoke directly with the bank and walked them through a more accurate version of the property value. The bank re-evaluated their property value based upon Melanie's knowledge and research, and revised their value of the property, which was tremendously helpful to us and our loan.
