We had looked for a house in the Carolinas with a large real estate group. The process took several months and after losing 3 houses, we then began our search for a home in Davidson, North Carolina. I decided to use Nagy Properties. They are a boutique real estate group, with specialized knowledge of the Davidson / Lake Norman area. Andrew Nagy, the realtor we used to help us find our house, has hands on knowledge and years of real estate experience in Davidson. After a few conversations, Andrew sent me a map of the 2 or 3 areas where he suggested we concentrate our search. Andrew gave us honest insight that helped guide us to the house we ultimately bought. Andrew drove to every house we had interest in. He took detailed video tours with commentary about the strengths and weaknesses of each house, taking into consideration our needs. Andrew devoted all hours of the day, everyday (Saturdays and Sundays included) to the search for our house. He would also send us videos of potential houses at different times of the day so we could get a feel for the lighting, traffic conditions, and general feel of the area. Andrew then found us our home within 2 -3 weeks. The process from offer to close was made stress free due to his extensive network in town. He coordinated all of the necessary inspections, appraisals, surveys we needed - a big time savings to us. He was the first realtor to correctly suggest supplemental inspections to investigate potential issues within the house. Those additional documents came in handy when an issue arose. Andrew's thoughtful strategy in having these additional documents made the answer to a potential issue get resolved quickly. Most impressive is the post sale attention. He put us in contact with contractors and a full range of skilled workmen to get the house move in ready. Even after our purchase, Andrew has visited the house and checked on its progress to be sure we are just as happy post sale as we were prior to closing.
Over the years we have bought and sold several houses.
