We were so lucky Reatlor.com matched us with Ashley Schaus of Keller Williams of Pinehurst when we expressed interest in a 5-acre lot for a new home build. From the beginning, Ashely insisted on, and modeled, transparency between the builder, realtor, and the us – the future homeowner. She kept us informed of each step in the new-build process. She even went out of her way to take pictures as the home was being built since we lived more than 6 hours away. We had a lot of custom changes to the initial house plans – concrete fiber siding, foam insulation, an attached third car garage, a screened in back porch, full concrete driveway, a completely redesigned master bathroom, and the addition of a 30’x30’ workshop. She ensured every part of our build met or exceeded our expectations to truly be our dream forever home. When it didn’t look like we were going to close on the house as planned, due to no fault of the realtor, she was our advocate and worked with legal, the builder, and the landowner to MAKE IT HAPPEN.
