Our homebuying experience was trouble from the start, as we were not ready, nor planning on it, until the death of our landlady. 2 other real estate agents dropped us before his firm was recommended to us. He was willing to come in from another county, and stuck with us from July until we finally closed in April. He walked us through every step of the way, and I made every mistake imaginable. Ashawn went above & beyond with my house-hunting process, especially once I found THE HOUSE I wanted ... he met me AT MY JOB, close to an hour’s drive away, just to get my initials &/or signature because I was overwhelmed with the digital/ online signature set-up/process. Christianity is at the forefront with Ashawn & his employer, ‘Castle Gate Realty’ ... no COINCIDENCE there I bought my house with a Christian company, with a Christian Owner & Employee. To top it off, the house I bought had a beautiful picture of Jesus on a wall & the $eller ended up taking it ... Ashawn Found (1) very similar & presented it to me just before we did the final walk-thru before Closing ( we didn’t know for sure if the picture would be there or not. ). What a beautiful gesture on Ashawn’s part, knowing how much I was hoping they would leave the picture on the wall - that picture was very comforting to me upon entering the home the 1st time & Ashawn’s gift is on that same wall ! Ashawn made it easy for me to find the right house. He was understanding of my needs and patient with me after numerous houses. He listened to what it was I was looking for and provided me with many choices within my budget. He wasn't pushing to make a sale, instead he was truly concerned with me finding the right house for me and my children so we could be happy. The sale and what he got out of it was at the bottom of the list. A very friendly man who always has a smile he is knowledgeable of his field and if he doesn't have an answer he researches thoroughly. An amazing real estate agent and person I will definitely use him again when I purchase a house.
