We inquired about an apartment for sale in Fort Greene, Brooklyn and Arthur was the Premier Agent that responded. He, very quickly, arranged for us to see the apartment but, unfortunately, it was not the apartment for us. We talked outside and he told us that he was very familiar with the market in the area and would be happy to help us find an apartment that would work for our family. He created a portfolio for us that enabled him to share properties that he found for us to consider. It gave us links to the listings and a way for us to comment on them and move them into separate categories such as “favored”, “to be seen” as well as deleting the properties we were not interested in. This was very convenient. Unfortunately, the market was very competitive for the type of property and the location we were looking for but Arthur was diligent. We looked for almost a year. He never became impatient or made us feel pressured. When we did find one that we were interested in he discussed several negotiating strategies and, to our delight, our offer was accepted. Being first time home buyers we were not familiar with the process and Arthur was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the entire process step by step. He referred several mortgage specialists to us as well as several real estate attorneys. While we wound up using someone at a bank who was referred to us by a friend we did, ultimately, wind up using one of the attorneys that he referred us to, who was very good. I’m not going to lie. It was pretty stressful. There were a lot of questions and concerns throughout the process but Arthur was always quick to respond, willing to listen, make suggestions and offer support. We might not have made it through to the end if it had not been for him. We recommend him highly to anyone who needs a great agent to help them find and purchase, or sell, a property.
